Auto Glass To Keep You Safe

Many vehicle owners tend to shop for auto glass like they shop for groceries - looking for the lowest price. What most people don't know is that not all auto glass is of the same quality. In fact, when a vehicle is designed by the manufacturer, they draw up specifications for the glass that helps keep the passengers safe in the event of an accident. Unfortunately, many aftermarket glass companies do not meet these safety standards.

OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) quality glass is auto glass that meets these specifications completely. Each piece of OEM glass is designed not only to fit perfectly as a replacement, but to ensure the structural integrity of the vehicle is restored.

Quality Auto Glass: Materials Make A Difference

Inferior replacement auto glass, installation techniques, and urethane can contribute to unnecessary risk to drivers and passengers alike. That's why at Clearview Windshields, we only use auto glass products that meet or exceed the vehicle's original manufacturer specifications. Part of our commitment to customer satisfaction is shown by our detail for safety. Our superior products and materials along with installer training help us continue to provide safe installations for all of our auto glass replacements.

Auto Glass Safety is something we take very seriously!

Don't compromise the safety of your passengers to save money.

Just as you would want experienced, reputable doctors attending your family's health needs, it is also important to select a trustworthy glass replacement shop that performs each job with precise care and the highest of standards to keep your family safe. At Clearview Windshields your safety is our #1 priority!

Clearview does not substitute low quality aftermarket glass for OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) glass when your safety is on the line. Clearview also does not sacrifice factory approved adhesive (glue) to hold your windshield for less expensive adhesive.

  • Your windshield is part of your safety restraint system.
  • Passenger side air bags use the windshield as a backboard for airbag to deflect off at the time of an accident.
  • The windshield helps to support the roof in the event of a rollover.
  • Unrepaired windshield chips and cracks compromise the strength of the glass to protect your passengers in the unfortunate event of an accident.
  • Most installations require the vehicle to set for two hours after the glass installation is completed. These drive away times may vary with different adhesive companies.

Clearview Windshields uses the highest quality urethane (glue).

  • We use Sika adhesive products. www.sikaindustry.com
  • Our replacement technicians have taken courses and are certified installers of Sika products.

Our replacement technicians also complete a two day training class each year on safe auto glass installation which includes the following information:

  1. Purpose of proper installation
  2. Results of improperly installed glass
  3. Proper use and timeframe of adhesives
  4. Tool usage for installers
  5. Safety for the installer
  6. Liabilities of installers
